SUITABILITY DECLARATION

You should have returned your signed Suitability Declaration in a sealed envelope when you attended for interview, so that the University can consider your suitability to commence a teacher training course.  If you have not done so please ensure that you return the declaration urgently to Direct Admissions, Surrey Building, City Campus, Howard Street, Sheffield S1 1WB. This requirement is in addition to the CRB check and you must return your signed Suitability Declaration as delay may impact upon your enrolment and ability to attend the first placement.

Suitability Declaration Form Secondary

The details on your Suitability Declarations are matched to the Enhanced DBS disclosure upon receipt. If you have a positive Suitability Declaration, the University may require you to attend an interview to assess suitability prior to the commencement of your course. All cautions/warnings/reprimands and convictions, no matter how long ago these occurred, will be considered by the University. 

Please note that any false declaration will be considered by the University under our regulatory procedures, and may lead to the removal of your eligibility to commence a teacher training course.
