Sharing Information Consent

Sheffield Hallam University teacher training programmes are inspected by Ofsted. In order to facilitate this, other quality assurance work, and to fulfil statutory requirements, Sheffield Hallam University needs to provide personal data to Ofsted, the National College of Teaching and Learning and placement schools. This may comprise names, date of birth, qualifications, ethnic group, declared disability, other application details, and grades achieved.

Sheffield Hallam University and placement schools are registered as data controllers with the Information Commissioner’s Office and are required to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable legislation.  Information will be collected and used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable legislation.
