What Do I Need to Bring to Enrolment?

You will need to bring a number of important documents to your enrolment session, including:

  1. Qualifications (original certificates)
  2. Completed Enrolment Summary (see section on the Pre-Enrolment Request)
  3. Suitable ID
  4. Completed bursary application form (if applicable)

Qualifications

It is a National College for Teaching and Leadership requirement that trainees have achieved qualifications below:

GCSE in English, minimum Grade C (or approved equivalent)
GCSE in Mathematics, minimum Grade C (or approved equivalent)
Degree award – 2.2 Hons. classification equivalent or above (PGCE Trainees only)

You must bring proof of qualifications (original certificates) to your enrolment session as you will not be allowed to enrol on the course unless these have been presented to the University. Failure to produce these will delay any bursary payments, if eligible, being paid.

If you do not have the original certificates, you must obtain copies from the Awarding Body as quickly as possible prior to enrolment. Please note that you must allow sufficient time for these to be replaced. If you need to obtain duplicate certificates the following link provides further information on how to do this.

If you have not achieved the qualifications specified above, you may be able to take an Equivalency Test prior to the course start date – please discuss this with the Admissions Tutor.
