We are pleased to announce that the SIPS Research Showcase and Poster Competition is back this year as part of the PGR Showcase Event run by the Doctoral School.  The in-person event will occur on Friday 16 June, at City Campus.  This event will enable you, as a postgraduate student from across the university, to present your research in a poster format.  We have designed the event to be as supportive as possible.

There are two strands you can submit an abstract under, including:

  • Postgraduate Student (PhD Student)
  • Postgraduate Student/Staff Collaboration (for PhD students working as a Research Assistant/Student Researcher and wanting to present with the consent of staff collaborators)

To facilitate submissions this year, we have introduced support sessions covering abstract writing, poster presentation and presentation skills for the event.  Further information the dates and times of the sessions can be found via SIPS Research Showcase and Poster Competition and the student MS Team.  Bookings for the sessions should be made via the Session Booking form.  All abstract submissions will be submitted through the Submission form.  If you wish to submit without prior attendance to the support session, you can do so. All abstract submissions must be made by Sunday 21 May.  In addition, a PDF copy of your poster must be emailed to the organising committee by Friday 2 June to enable a copy to be printed ready for the showcase.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with the Organising Committee:  Charlotte Oliver and Zoe Rodgers.
