In this session, you will have an opportunity to:
(1) Recognise the key features of academic writing
(2) Understand academic voice
(3) Refer appropriately to research
(4) Know how to quote, paraphrase and summarise
(5) Improve sentence and paragraph structure
(6) Use effective signposting language
The webinar will be facilitated using Blackboard Collaborate. The easiest way to participate is if you can listen to audio at your computer and type into the chat window. You can test the technology out beforehand in our Testing Room. For help, see Getting started with Blackboard Collaborate.
