The aim of this workshop is to provide guidance for how to get ethics approved first time for Researchers.

What are Research Ethics?

Research ethics provide a framework for responsible and accountable conduct in research, promoting the advancement of knowledge while safeguarding the rights and well-being of participants and society as a whole.

What is the purpose of this session?

Before collecting any data, researchers require ethical approval which can take a long time if the ethics application isn’t completed correctly. The purpose of this session is to guide researchers through SHU Ethics and provide a framework to help you get your ethics application approved first time.

Who is the training for?

Early career researchers, mid career researchers, senior researchers, PhD students, supervisors.
