Bridging Gaps: Fostering Social Justice in Academic Transitions for International and At-Risk Scholars

This event aims to explore the unique challenges and strategies relevant to international doctoral researchers and academics at risk within UK universities. It will focus on transition phases, such as moving from PhD to postdoc roles, and the additional complexities faced by those who cannot return to their home countries. The event seeks to highlight the resilience and adaptability of these scholars and urges UK higher education institutions to establish more robust support systems that uphold social justice and facilitate successful academic transitions.
