This Sprint has been released as a patch initially and will be released as a new image shortly.

Updates applied include:

• Rename “MD Assistance Centre” to “MD Assistance Centre (MDAC)”
• Altered AppsAnywhere shortcut to use https rather than http
• Updated Scheduled Tasks to shut the workstation down from 18:00 onwards at a random time
• Updated script to restart the workstation if required rather than just shutting down
• New C:\SHU\Logs folder
• Disabled Recently Added Menu Items showing in the menus
• Display the Developer Menu in Excel
• Windows Explorer launch to ‘This PC’ rather than ‘Quick Access’

The biggest alteration is the implementation of a routine to restart the workstation if a restart is required in order to complete the installation of an application or recent Microsoft Security Updates. This should resolve the issue of the Security Updates completing during the next power on after installing which could affect teaching.
