Restore your files after a re-image

Restoring your files after your workstation has had the Windows 10 Managed Desktop installed

In order to prepare for your workstation being imaged to the Windows 10 Managed Desktop you should have copied your Outlook signatures from your workstation as part of the popup workstation preparation tool.

These signature files can now be restored to your Windows 10 Managed Desktop.

We would recommend that Outlook is closed before restoring your signature files.

Restoring your Outlook signatures

The files can be restored by using the MD Assistance Centre tool (MDAC) which is available as a desktop shortcut.

When launched, select Self Service and then select the item ‘Restore Outlook Signatures’.

You will receive a message in MDAC about this process having been successful.
