Adding additional foreign languages and keyboard layouts to Windows 10

Users can add additional ‘Regional and Language’ settings to their account with a normal user code, it does not require administrative rights to do this.

In order to add additional Regional and Language settings from the Start Menu select the folder ‘! SHU Apps’ and then select the ‘Region and Language’ application.

From here select the ‘+ Add a language’ option and then search for the language you wish to add.

Select install. When asked for a user name and password just select cancel. This will then continue the installation.

Select the language you have just installed and use the arrow keys to move it to the top of the languages, which will make this the default language and then select options to allow you to configure regional settings and add additional keyboards.

In order to use the language, ensure the new language is selected in the bottom right of the task bar, if not select ENG and then select the language you require.
