June 19
Further details of this event will be confirmed in due course. This includes start and end times, a link for attendees to register and details of how to enter the Poster and Presentation competitions.
The White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership holds its 13th Annual Conference at the University of York on the 19th June 2024. The conference is a great opportunity to network with other doctoral researchers, share your research experiences, find out more about the training on offer from the DTP Pathways and meet your Pathway Director. The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Inclusive Research Cultures and Practices’.
The conference will also provide exciting opportunities for our social science PGRs to share their work and engage with colleagues working in cognate fields, and to develop useful professional skills. The lunchtime session will include a poster competition, and the pathway sessions will provide opportunities for PGRs to present papers based on their research. Posters and presentations can relate to any aspect of your research, and do not have to be aligned to the conference theme.
We welcome all social science PGRs from across our seven universities. You are very welcome to attend whether or not you are presenting your work. If you’re attending or presenting at the conference, please do follow our Twitter account and tweet using the #wrdtp hashtag.
Please note: It is compulsory for ESRC funded students to attend at least one Annual Conference during their funded period.
