Sheffield Hallam University students and staff are invited to attend IMPACT 2021, a conference led by the University’s Culture & Creativity Research Institute. The event will take place online across two days and will weave together presentations from Postgraduate Research Students (PGR) and Early Career Researchers (ECR), with discussions and presentations by staff researchers who produced Impact Case Studies for the Research Excellence Framework 2021. The audience for the conference is Sheffield Hallam University postgraduate research students and staff.
The conference invites participants to explore the value and influence of research, and the ways that research impact can be understood, evaluated and articulated from different perspectives. The conference will include three substantial panels, designed in response to the call for abstracts – these will explore: impact on practices in institutions; impact generated by the identification of critical issues; and collaboration, participation & impact.
Keynotes and chairing will be delivered by staff from across the University, including Robbie Aitken, Aimee Ambrose, Paul Chamberlain, Ruth Deller, Kathy Doherty, Rory Ridley Duff, Lisa Hopkins, Kerry McSeveny, Niels Petersson, and Becky Shaw.
A detailed programme can be found online here. If you are interested in attending the conference please email the CCRI Postgraduate Research Administration Team for further information.
