‘A Thousand Voices’ VR Explorations by LIBá Collective at the London Art Biennale 2023

LIBá Collective is the collaboration of digital artist & BA, MA, FHEA of Sheffield Hallam University Danny Bacchus, filmmaker Dominic Green and multi-disciplinary artist Marcel Schreur.

Their exhibition at London Art Biennale 2023 features two VR works and an accompanying display of artefacts that expresses aspects of the life experience of 98 year of Ukrainian and Gulag survivor, Ivanna Maszczak.

LIBá Collective & Ivanna Maszczak were delighted to accept an award during a ceremony on the Sunday evening of the Biennale – ‘A Thousand Voices’ won an award for ‘Impact, Innovation and Artistic Ingenuity’. Ivanna was thrilled with the reception and received an extended standing ovation when they went to pick up the award.
