Alice Bullas, a PhD student in the University’s Centre for Sports Engineering Research (CSER), is looking for cyclists to participate in her study which uses 3D imaging scanners to analyse the performance of riders of road, track, BMX or mountain bikes and how their body size can affect their performances. Alice discussed her work at an event at the Institute of Mechanical Engineers to celebrate National Women in Engineering Day on 23 June.
