There will be no cost for printing the posters; instead, the posters will be printed centrally and will be displayed on poster boards by the conference organisers at the event itself.
Presentation opportunity: There will also be limited spaces for doctoral students to present their research through an electronic presentation. When submitting an abstract please state your interest in this opportunity.
Academic contacts: Each doctoral student delegate is encouraged to invite two academic contacts to the event and may wish to consult with their supervisory team as to who this should be. Please note that all delegates will need to cover their own expenses in relation to travel, subsistence, accommodation etc for attending the event. It will not be possible for such expenses to be reimbursed.
Registration: All doctoral students and other delegates are required to register by Monday 1st April 2019 by emailing Jill Dickinson (jill.dickinson@shu.ac.uk).
Prizes: There will several prizes awarded for the best posters which consider the originality and intended contribution of the work, whether this be theoretical, applied or both. Alongside these, the posters will be judged for their clarity, structure, visual impact, quality of references used and innovation.
