Taking the sting out of journal reviewer comments: reframing, responding, rebutting

This workshop is about the ‘art’ of responding to reviewer comments. Drawing on research and concepts from applied linguistics, we will analyse authentic examples (from the insightful and encouraging to the baffling and rude!) and discuss strategies for interpreting and responding constructively. Participants are welcome to bring along any reviewer comments they have received, although to take part in the workshop, no previous experience of article submission is required.
