Welcome Event for new CCRI PGRs
16 February 2022 @ 10:00 - 12:00
This session is for Postgraduate Research Students (PGRs) who are newly enrolled into the Culture and Creativity Research Institute (CCRI), and their supervisors. It is an opportunity for you to meet the Postgraduate Research team including the Head of Research Degrees, professional services colleagues who support the programme in CCRI, your Postgraduate Research Tutor and (subject to availability) members of the Staff Student Committee. It is also an excellent opportunity for you to introduce yourself to other new students from across the Research Institute.
The session will cover a range of topics and information designed to help and support you and your supervisors at the start of your programme including the roles and responsibilities of the PGR team, the CCRI research environment, facilities, and culture, life as a PhD student, training and development, sources of help and support and opportunities to feedback about your experience as a student. There will be lots of time to ask questions and for you to get to know each other.
This session is part of the CCRI PGR Rolling Induction series, which is designed to complement the induction events offered by the Doctoral School.
Please register your attendance via Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ccri-welcome-for-new-pgrs-tickets-266096661277 – CCRI students will have been issued with a password to access the page.
