The Skills Centre is excited to announce that their Undergraduate Poster Showcase event will be held this year on Wednesday 18 March from 2-4pm in Cantor Atrium, City Campus and you are invited.
Following on from the success of the inaugural showcase last year, this year’s event will showcase the work of over 20 undergraduate researchers from across the university. Students will present research posters based on their undergraduate dissertations and assignments, and for many this will be their first experience of communicating and disseminating their research with an audience outside of their courses and modules.
Many students are interested in PG study and research, and the Skills Centre would love the event to provide an opportunity for them to connect with current researchers at SHU and find out more about your projects and journeys to postgraduate research and beyond. As the Undergraduate Research Network continues to grow, they are also exploring future opportunities for research mentoring and networking to help bring UG students into the vibrant community of research at Sheffield Hallam, and the showcase offers a great opportunity to meet the staff and students involved.
