Skillfluence – Progressing Your Research in Challenging Times

An insightful and reflective programme designed to support researchers to consider the specific challenges they currently face and provide a highly interactive and supportive peer to peer learning environment.

Aimed at progressing research during challenging times this workshop is for researchers whose research may be impacted by difficult situations or circumstances, often out of their control. As we operate in increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environments, there can be increased challenge to retain focus on and progress research. How does a researchers move forward with less time or funding? How can we manage projects in uncertain circumstances?

We will look at the two core models of stakeholder engagement and innovation under constraint to help participants explore how they can maintain momentum in their research during challenging times. The final section of the course will explore productivity tools and ways in which researchers can connect and collaborate to sustain momentum in their research. This will provide an opportunity to connect with peers and share frameworks, tips and helpful tools.

This session is facilitated by Joanne Hagerty of Skillfluence. Joanne is a creative and entrepreneurial consultant and trainer who loves using systematic innovation tools and techniques to bring ideas to life. She has first hand experience building and growing enterprises across a range of sectors. Joanne enjoys working on projects where technologies emerge and sectors converge. Joanne has extensive experience, delivering workshops to over 800 enterprises helping them grow their enterprises through practical and pragmatic use of innovation.
