Research Writing, Presentation and Reading (Year 2 Doctoral Research Training Series Event)

The Doctoral Research Training Series is a series of intensive training blocks where all the University’s doctoral researchers come together for a day, to receive timely training on topics relevant to the different stages of their doctoral programme and career development.
Aimed at Year 2 Full-Time (Year 3-4 Part-Time) Doctoral Students.
This event will cover essential skills in critical reading, research writing and breaking writers’ block. It will include an (optional) ‘Shut Up and Write!’ session with a particular focus on writing for your thesis.
