Research Writing for the Doctorate

The Doctoral Research Training Series is a series of intensive training blocks where all the University’s doctoral researchers come together for a day, to receive timely training on topics relevant to the different stages of their doctoral programme and career development.

Aimed at Year 2 Full-Time (Year 3-4 Part-Time) Doctoral Students, this event will cover essential skills in critical reading, research writing and breaking writers’ block and include an (optional) Shut Up and Write session 2-4pm with a particular focus on writing for your thesis.
