Planning for Finishing the Thesis
27 June 2017 @ 13:00 - 16:00
The Doctoral Research Training Series is a series of intensive training blocks where all the University’s doctoral researchers come together for a day, to receive timely training on topics relevant to the different stages of their doctoral programme and career development.
This session is intended to spark discussion and debate around planning for finishing the doctoral thesis, drawing on the experiences of doctoral programme leaders, supervisors and previous doctoral students. The session will also include ‘need to know’ advice on open access and intellectual property as you move further towards thesis submission. It is aimed at second year doctoral students from all disciplines across SHU. We hope that you will join us to share experiences, develop ideas and coping strategies around finishing the thesis in a discursive, supportive environment.
