Doctoral Skills workshop – Reading and synthesis for your doctorate

Would you like to learn more about reading techniques and strategies for your doctorate? In this session, we will explore techniques for synthesising large volumes of literature, as well as identifying what to extract from your reading. We will also discuss strategies for enhancing reading motivation. This session is relevant for all doctoral students, at any stage of their study.

In this session, we will:

• Explore different techniques for synthesising large volumes of reading;
• Identify strategies for reading motivation;
• Consider approaches to extracting information from your reading.
