Deadline for Doctoral Researcher of the Year expressions of interest

The SHU Doctoral Researcher of the Year competition is new for 2018 and recognises excellence in doctoral research. Successful nominees from each Faculty will be judged on their ability to communicate their doctoral research and its potential impact to a non-specialist audience at the Doctoral Showcase on 24 May 2018. The winner will be awarded a prize of £250 to be recognised at graduation.
How to enter
We welcome expressions of interest from final year doctoral researchers. Please check the document below for further guidance and submit an outline of your doctoral research and its potential impact to doctoralschool@shu.ac.uk by 12 noon Monday 16 April 2018. You must be available to present at the Doctoral Showcase on 24 May 2018.
