Copyright and e-theses
This session is aimed at doctoral students and covers what you need to know about copyright from the very start of your project; when you are writing up your thesis; and when you are depositing an electronic version of your thesis in the SHU Research Archive (aka SHURA, http://shura.shu.ac.uk). The session will address the following questions:
- What is copyright?
- What do I need to know about copyright when conducting my research?
- What do I need to know about including third party materials when writing up my thesis?
- Why would I make my thesis available electronically via the SHU Research Archive?
