Choosing where to publish your article

31 March 2017 @ 14:00 - 15:30

There is no easy answer to the question “Which is the best journal for me to publish my research article?”  and it will depend on what you are trying to achieve through publication.  However, there a range of factors you can consider to help you make an informed decision.   For example, the journal’s scope, review process, audience, reach, visibility and prestige. Another important factor to take into account is how to make your research Open Access and therefore available to a wider audience.  This session will help you to navigate your choices, introduce you to some tools to help you to select a journal and help you to find and understand journal metrics.
