Becoming a SHU Doctoral Researcher

Part of the Doctoral Research Training Series. Aimed at Year 1 (1-2 PT).

This University-wide doctoral induction session will introduce new starters to the life of a SHU doctoral researcher and provide orientation on a number of key elements relating to doctoral study. The programme includes:

• Doctoral Skills Training
• Building the Doctoral School Community
• Getting the Most Out of Supervision
• Library Support for Researchers

All new-starting PhD and Professional Doctorate researchers at Sheffield Hallam University are expected to attend.
