Academic English for Doctoral Students

Academic English for Doctoral Students (eg PhD, EdD, DBA etc) is a non-credit bearing module for students working independently on a doctorate. The focus will be on practising and developing the language and rhetoric to explain and present your research in both written and spoken formats.

Module content includes:

• research-based writing
• writing the RF1/RF2
• delivering research talks
• writing abstracts and more

These online sessions will be led by Dr Diana Ridley. You can Book onto a session via Unihub or just drop in to the sessions (check the skills centre hub for the link to join).
