GrantCraft Workshop: Fundamentals of Grant Writing

Delivered by specialists in grant writing, GrantCraft, this workshop will help you develop the skills and expertise needed to tackle the grant development process with increased confidence and knowledge. The session will introduce the process of research funding from the initial generation of an idea through to submission and the review process. It will help you to think strategically about the planning and preparation of funding applications. It will support you to assess if you are ‘bid ready’, explaining the necessity of networks, the importance of developing a funding track record, and the approaches that can be taken to do so.

The workshop will introduce common component blocks of a research proposal. It will provide an overview of how to construct these blocks, and the strategies that can be used to assemble them into a competitive document.

The workshop will be followed by lunch, provided by SHU. When you sign up, please let us know of any dietary requirements.
