A very lively and enjoyable event, with lots of discussion apparent throughout. It was great to see so many posters covering the breadth of MERI and BMRC, and to include the posters from MSci/MChem students, as well as those from the research students.
With so many excellent posters on show, it was difficult to pick out just three winners – those selected were: 1st Prize – Jodi Brookes (BMRC) – Investigation into bacterial proteases within used metal working fluids 2nd Prize – Alireza Janani (MERI) – Toward distributed farming 3rd Prize – Jordan Roe (BMRC) – Polyurethane auxetic foams for tissue engineering applications.
Congratulations to Jodi, Alireza and Jordan, but mainly well done to all participants and organisers.
