Dr David Swann’s ABC syringe to feature in BodyWorks on Tour
Dr David Swann‘s invention ABC Syringe (A Behaviour Changing Syringe) is to feature in the Careering into Science interactive science show, part of the BodyWorks on Tour Programme engaging school audiences across Scotland. The interactive show includes a segment on chemistry skills and tells the story of the ABC Syringe and how colour-changing technology can help save lives. The ABC Syringe changes colour in order to deter harmful re-use when the syringe is no longer sterile. The Syringe was the winner of the 2014 World Design Impact Prize.
Bodyworks on Tour is an initiative of the Glasgow Science Centre to raise awareness of the science underpinning health and wellbeing. The Tour dates are September 2017 to September 2018 and you can read more about the programme here.
