Hallam lecturer joins Sheffield Race Equality Commission

Senior lecturer and artist Yuen Fong Ling has been appointed to a commission looking into the nature, extent and causes of racism and racial disparities in Sheffield. The Sheffield Race Equality Commission has appointed 24 commissioners to join its board. Explaining why it was important to get involved with the year-long project Yuen said:

“I feel it’s important to question, challenge and listen carefully to those who have previously been silenced so we can make a new way forward together.”
