‘Connected Manufacturing’ networking events announced for local SMEs from the Digital Sector – 8 & 15 March 2018
Researchers from C3RI’s Communication and Computing Research Centre will be taking part in a number of ‘Connected Manufacturing’ events across Sheffield as part of the Sheffield Innovation Programme (SIP).
Connected Manufacturing is a workshop for local SMEs from the digital sector that are interest in collaborating with the manufacturing sector to accelerate digital innovations in manufacturing businesses. A two day programme includes sessions with specialist experts from both of Sheffield’s universities focused on digitisation for manufacturing, servitisation, digital transformation and cybersecurity in manufacturing and the tools and technologies that can be applied. Included in the two day workshop is a tour of Tinsley Bridge manufacturing site and the opportunity to attend an evening networking dinner at Cutlers Hall on the 15 March 2018.
