Building inter-sectoral collaborations
A key element of the current work being undertaken by Lab4Living‘s Helen Fisher and Claire Craig in Australia in relation to the 100-Year Life project is to meet with and work with researchers across a range of different settings (HEIs, Industry, NGOs, hospitals and other organisations).
Helen and Claire were excited to meet with Prof. Synneve Dahlin-Ivanoff, Dr. Daniela Castro De Jong to explore potential synergies and connections across their work. After a short tour of the hospital discussion focused on exploring the potential of design in promoting personalisation of hospital services where exciting possibilities and shared interests were identified.
Dr. Castro has over 20 years of clinic, management and academic experience in Chile and Professor Dahlin-Ivanoff is a visiting scholar from the Department of Health and Rehabilitation at the Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology at Gothenburg University in Sweden. Claire said:
“We look forward to continuing our conversations.”
Claire and Helen continue their research trip next week when they travel to New Zealand.
