Performance lecture ‘Artamovement – David Bohm’s Dialogue and the Holographic I’ by Hester Reeve
Performance artist Hester Reeve recently presented a new performance lecture ‘Artamovement – David Bohm’s Dialogue and the Holographic I’ at the Pari Centre of New Learning in Italy.
The presentation slides were formed of hand-written quotations and drawings exploring the theme under investigation (and these will provide the basis of a forthcoming artist publication under the same title).
The Pari Center is an alternative academy, founded in 2000 by the physicist-philosopher David Peat, a former student and friend of David Bohm, along with Maureen Doolan in the medieval Tuscan village of Pari. The centre fosters an interdisciplinary approach linking science, arts, ecology, ethics and spirituality.
This work is part of a strand of Hester’s research exploring Bohm’s Dialogue, an approach to group interaction philosophy described by theoretical physicist David Bohm in his book ‘On Dialogue’.
