This article is part of a series explaining the enhancements that will be introduced as part of the Blackboard upgrade scheduled for 18-20 January 2019.
Collaborate Ultra is now listed as one of the communication and collaboration tools available for groups. When creating groups within your Blackboard sites you can allow group members to use Collaborate Ultra, and also permit whether group members create and access recordings of sessions.
Group members join sessions as moderators and have access to a range of Collaborate Ultra tools including sharing content (whiteboard, applications and files) and interaction (through polls, text-chat, audio and video).
You can set up a group with an individual group member should you wish to conduct a private meeting with a student via Collaborate Ultra.
