Turnitin is working again

Turnitin says the problems they experienced are now fixed, and everyone should be able to access it as usual again. They apologise for the length of the outage. If you are still experiencing any difficulties accessing Turnitin after restarting your browser, please contact IT Help.

Turnitin now available through PebblePad

Turnitin has been added to SHU’s PebblePad system, meaning that student submissions can now be sent directly to Turnitin for originality checking rather than needing to be downloaded and sent separately. Guidance on how to enable the feature within an Atlas workspace and send student submissions to the service is available in TELHelp.

Turnitin downtime on Saturday 17 March

Turnitin has advised us that the service will be unavailable to all users from 4pm – 10pm on Saturday 17 March. This maintenance is due to hardware updates and performance improvements that will ensure Turnitin remains stable, particularly during high submission periods.
