Features Battery Type: Lithium ion rechargeable battery Battery Life: 14 hours average, depending on settings Recharging Time: 6 hours max Canister Size: 300ml Therapy Delivery Modes: Continuous or Intermittent Intensity Settings: Low, Medium, High Therapy Pressure Options: -25mmHg to -200mmHg (-3.3kPa to -26.6kPa) Clinical Applications VAC therapy is a system that uses continuous or intermittent negative pressure to create an environment that promotes wound healing by secondary intention. VAC therapy can help to prepare the wound bed for closure, reduce oedema, promote granulation and manage exudate. The Activac is used when patients are mobile and getting ready for discharge. If a patient is being discharged with VAC therapy, then the Activac and the box goes home with the patient.
Features Pump unit Weight: 2.75 kg (6 lb) Max/Min Pressure 85 – 110 mmHg 9 alternating cells with a 10 minute cycle time Clinical Applications This air alternating cushion is suitable for ‘at risk’ patients with up to and including Category 4 pressure damage. The air alternating cushion should be placed on top of the cushion in the patients bedside chair. Ensure using the cushion does not destabilise the patients sitting balance or increase the sitting height of the patient. Maximum weight limit 120kg Not to be used for patients with unstable spinal fractures Decontamination In the event that the cushion is required to be sent away for cleaning the cushion should be placed in a red bag and left in the ward collection area where it will be collected by the hospitals mattress decontamination contractor.  The pump unit should be cleaned and returned to the Equipment Library as normal
Features Mains powered with battery backup Battery: internal rechargeable Lithium ion battery, 3.6 V DC 2000 mAh Battery capacity: 24 hours at 125 ml/h Accuracy flow rate: ±5,0% with appropriate Flocare® Infinity™ pump set Temperature: Operation mode: +5°C to +40°C Storage and transportation: -20°C to +65°C Air bubble detection: The amount of air, that must pass the air sensor before the air alarm is activated, varies from 0.5 to 1,5 ml which relates to an air bubble with an approximate length in the tubing of 9 - 26 cm. Clinical Applications An enteral feeding pump used to deliver continuous or intermittent feed, fluid or supplements via an enteral feeding tube eg. NG, Gastrostomy. Must be used with Flocare Infinity giving set.
