Dr Sharon Kivland’s imprint MA BIBLIOTHÈQUE at Offprint London – 18-20 May 2018

MA BIBLIOTHÈQUE is the imprint of artist and Reader in Fine Art Dr Sharon Kivland whose artist books are an essential part of her work as an artist, alongside sculptures, installation, objects and writings.

MA BIBLIOTHÈQUE will be at Offprint on the weekend of 18-20 May, with books and slim volumes by Aude Anquetil, Sean Ashton, Riccardo Boglione, Paul Buck, Jamie Crewe, Vincent Dachy, Annabel Frearson, Michael Hampton, Peter Jaeger, Kreider & O’Leary, Sharon Kivland, Claire Potter, Vanessa Place & Naomi Toth, Sarah Wood, a pamphlet of haikus made from Roland Barthes’s chapter The Desire for Haiku, and two splendid anthologies: The Lost Diagrams of Walter Benjamin (eds. Helen Clarke & Sharon Kivland, with essays by Helen Clark, Sam Dolbear, and Christian A. Wollin) and ON VIOLENCE (eds. Rebecca Jagoe & Sharon Kivland).

Authors from the latter will read in the Clore Room on Sunday at 4PM (Emma Bolland, Paul Buck, Kirsten Cooke, John Cunningham, Vanessa Place, and Jala Wahid). Kreider & O’Leary will be signing  FIELD POETICS on Saturday at 2PM. Paul Buck will be signing LIBRARY: A Suitable Case for Treatment on Saturday at 4PM.

Offprint London returns for its fourth edition to Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall, hosting 140 independent and experimental publishers in contemporary art, photography and graphic design, in collaboration with Tate Modern. Throughout the weekend, Tate and Offprint will facilitate a programme of workshops and performances.
