UFHRD presentation and viewing guidelines

For presenters

  1. You will be allocated a 30-minute slot to present your research based on the abstract that you have submitted. We encourage you to take on board the feedback that has been given to you in presenting your work. The slot will be made up of a 20 minute oral presentation, followed by a 10 minute question and answer section. The Q&A will be facilitated by one of the stream leads for your theme.
  2. You are invited to submit a 100 word biography (or you could use that space to identify delegates that you would like to connect with).
  3. You can upload Powerpoint presentations and/or .pdf files prior to the event. These will be connected with your slot in the online programme. Due to technical capability of the online conference, videos cannot be shown as part of a presentation. There is however the opportunity to upload videos that delegates can watch prior to (and after) your session. These will appear in the online programme.
  4. By default, presentations will be recorded and made available to be watched up to 60 days after the conference. If you do not wish to be recorded, then you must inform the session chair on the day.
  5. You will need to use a Windows or Mac laptop to present. Mobile devices cannot be used to take part in the conference.
  6. You will need to download the Webex Events app prior to the conference. See the following technical guidance which has the relevant link – https://support.exordo.com/article/942-technical-specifications-for-joining-a-live-stage or it can be found directly here: Download Webex Events App
  7. Please try to ensure you have a stable internet connection, ideally wired rather than wi-fi.
  8. 2 or 4 presentations will be scheduled into the same slot, dedicated to your stream. You will access your session via the online programme on the Exordo website: https://ufhrd2022.exordo.com/
