PebblePad is primarily an online, private space for reflecting on learning and development, though it can also be used for assessment, employability activities and more. It has been used for many years in the faculties of Development & Society and Health & Wellbeing at SHU, and has recently been made available to all staff and students at Sheffield Hallam. On the 28th January a representative of Pebble Learning, the company behind PebblePad, will be presenting a showcase of ways it is being used by other institutions to support student learning, as well as discussing and demonstrating some of the unique features of the software, and answering questions from the audience.
The session is open to all SHU staff, regardless of previous experience in using PebblePad. So, whether you are an experienced user wanting to find out about upcoming features, or someone who wants to know how the system could help your students and your professional practice, please come along.
The session is a drop-in event, so there is no need to book, and it will be taking place on Wednesday 28th January, 14:00-17:00, in Stoddart 7140. If you have any questions about the event, please contact Ian Glover (i.glover@shu.ac.uk) in the central Technology Enhanced Learning team.
