Email in Office 365 and issues connecting to Microsoft

A couple of weeks ago, some staff experienced problems with Microsoft’s Office 365 connection to email (Exchange Online) giving either very slow performance or interrupted service. This was a Europe-wide issue which affected many users intermittently. Microsoft has reported that this is now resolved. If you are still experiencing issues, please report them to IThelp@shu.ac.uk.

A very small number of staff within the University have had new connection problems within the last week which Microsoft is looking into. In the meantime, there are work-arounds for those affected.
