Rose Butler’s short film ‘The Fairs’ selected for the Swedenborg Film Festival 2016

Rose Butler‘s new dual screen work The Fairs has been selected for the Swedenborg Film Festival 2016 and will be entered for an award selected by film maker Andrew Kotting.

The festival takes place in London on 26 November 2016 and is curated by Gareth Evans of Whitechapel Gallery and Nora Foster, Communications Manager at Frieze and formerly Assistant Curator of The Swedenborg Society. Rose Butler is an artist, researcher and senior lecturer of Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University, she works with video, photography, sound, animation and installation. She is a Doctoral Researcher registered in C3RI and sponsored by the SHU Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship Scheme. She is also a board member of Bloc Projects, Sheffield and a freelance artist mentor.
