Pam Bowman and Matt Edgar’s films ‘Typography Now’ and ‘Punk & Pageant’ added to lineup for Offset Dublin

Films by Sheffield Hallam University’s Pam Bowman and Matt Edgar have been added to the lineup of Offset Dublin creative conference, to be screened on the main stage on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 March. Typography Now is a look at the initiation, making and lasting impact of the 1991 book that became a record of its generation. The second film, Punk & Pageant, is a celebration of Why Not Associates 30 years as leaders in British graphic design.

With over 2,500 attendees each year, Offset has fast become one of the world’s most inspirational, educational and vocational conferences for the design and creative industries. Representing industry at all levels, Offset’s speakers are key disruptors and influencers in their field driving everything from huge global campaigns to awe inspiring personal projects.

Pam Bowman is Principal Lecturer and Program Lead for Visual Communication at Sheffield Hallam University, responsible for overseeing Graphic Design and Illustration courses. Pam is also a founding member and typographer at the Sheffield-based multi-disciplinary design collective, dust.

Matt Edgar is Course Leader in Graphic Design at Sheffield Hallam University.
