On Wednesday 15 March, Queen of Air will be projected onto the Diamond Building as part of the Sheffield Festival of Science and Engineering event Wall of Women at The Diamond.

Projections will be between 6.30PM and 8PM at The Diamond, University of Sheffield, 32 Leavygreave Road, Sheffield, S3 7RD. No booking is required.

When darkness falls, Queen of Air, a short poem film commissioned for the Amy Johnson Festival by Sheffield poet Joe Kriss and the Bafta-nominated filmmaker Annie Watson (Film & Photography, SHU) will be projected onto the building. Amy, an alumna of the University of Sheffield, was the first female to hold an authorised mechanics licence and broke world flying records across the world. The film will be accompanied by images from the Wall of Women. The projections will roll on a 10-minute loop.
