Loitering with Intent – The Art and Politics of Walking in Manchester and Beyond is a group exhibition organised by the LRM (Loiterers Resistance Movement), a Manchester-based collective interested in psychogeography and public space. This exhibition at the People’s History Museum features artist and filmmaker Esther Johnson‘s poetic documentary, ‘Alone Together, the Social Life of Benches’. Esther’s film uses oral testimonies and carefully composed portraits to explore how individuals and groups spend time in two distinctive public locations.
