David Cotterrell at Danielle Arnaud Venice (17 May – 26 November 2023 – By appointment only)

David Cotterrell in Venice

WUNDERKAMMERN
Camere delle Meraviglie

Wednesday 17 to Sunday 21 May 2023

Join us to discover David Cotterrell’s new work at Danielle Arnaud Venice.  The artist proposes a series of impossible assemblages of artefacts, vignettes and insects questioning the appropriation of culture and the trade in knowledge and power.  These are the artist’s latest experiments in holographic illusion and shadow projection.

This presentation is part of an on-going programme of independent projects in Venice highlighting recent and new work by the gallery artists. This presentation was made possible by the generous loan of screens by ALIOSCOPY, Paris.

All visits are by appointments (coffee, tea and cakes or aperitif are on offer!). Please email Danielle Arnaud for more information or to make an appointment.

Professor David Cotterrell is Research Professor of Fine Art & Director of the Culture & Creativity Research Institute (CCRI) at Sheffield Hallam University, and co-founder of Empathy & Risk C.I.C. For further information about Professor Cotterrell’s work please visit his website.
