Title: Lab4Living

Professor Paul Chamberlain will provide an overview of the development and diverse activities of Lab4Living, a research group that brings together Designers and creative practitioners from within the Art & Design Research Centre at SHU and Health Care specialists. The talk will coincide with an exhibition in the HPO that reflects on ten years of work from the Lab4Living team.

Lab4Living is a trans-disciplinary research group, based on a collaborative community of researchers in design, health-care and creative practices. It works to address real world issues that impact on health and wellbeing, developing products, services and interventions that promote dignity and enhance quality of life.

Professor Paul Chamberlain is the Lab4Living Design Director, the Head of the Art & Design Research Centre and a Co-Director of the Cultural Communication and Computing Research Institute (C3RI) at SHU.
