Turnitin has changed how students access receipts for their submissions by introducing digital receipts.
Students will still receive an email receipt confirming their submission, but it will no longer include text from their paper. Instead it will contain a confirmation message and directions for how to access the PDF digital receipt.
The digital receipt will be downloadable as a PDF from the student’s class homepage in the Blackboard site and from the document viewer when viewing their originality report. Instructors will also be able to download this PDF digital receipt from the document viewer.
The PDF version of the digital receipt includes the paper id and title, the name of the assignment, the student’s name, submission date and time, word count and the first 100 words of the submission.
The digital receipt that appears on the screen after the student has successfully submitted a paper will now include a message explaining how students can access this PDF version of the digital receipt for download and printing.
