Supported time sessions for preparing 2012/13 Blackboard sites and Blackboard Assignments & Grade Centre workshops will be continuing throughout September.

Supported time sessions are a time where you will be able to prepare your 2012/13 Blackboard sites with e-learning staff on hand to explain the process and provide support. If you have content ready to be added to your Blackboard sites, then you can add it during the session. The session will also provide help and information for the transition from SHU Assignments to Blackboard Assignments.

Blackboard Assignments & Grade Centre workshops are aimed at both long time and new users of assignment submissions through Blackboard and the  Grade Centre to publish feedback and grades to students. The sessions demonstrate the variety of functionality available within Blackboard Assignments and the Grade Centre that can enable and support efficient and effective assignment management and feedback online.

Please note we are trialling some of the Supported time sessions and Blackboard Assignments & Grade Centre workshops using Blackboard Collaborate (a new virtual classroom tool). These sessions will be delivered virtually enabling you to join in and participate from your home or office. If you wish to use the audio and voice options available in Blackboard Collaborate during these sessions, will need a headset (or headphones and a microphone).
